On March 11, 2012 over $30,000 in vital sports and recreation equipment including customized hand-cycles, wheelchair basketball chairs, and other needed gear for people with disabilities was stolen from the Ann Arbor Center for Independent Living.? NuStep has stepped-up to join the Ann Arbor CIL in the upcoming ?Big House Big Heart? race to help non-profits team together to make a difference and raise money for a local cause.? NuStep will be MATCHING donations up to $5,000 given to this webpage! ?All participants will receive a NuStep/Ann Arbor CIL t-shirt and get to meet a few celebrities from the hit TV Series ?The Biggest Loser? that have joined our Team!

The Ann Arbor Center for Independent Living is dedicated to the success of children, youth, adults, and seniors with disabilities to be successful at home, at school, at work and in the community.? I am asking for your support during this critical time as the sports and recreation team depends on the adapted hand-cycles that were stolen to start training for IRide, a 4-day, all inclusive, cycling event across the state of Michigan for people with disabilities and their families and friends.
