Stories have been the way things and information has been passed down throughout the years. As you consider the stories in your family that are ordinarily told and retold when the members of your family are in touch with each other, there are and will be those you need to hear again and some that embarrass you each and every time you hear them. You know how your family members delight in reminding you of those stories laughing at your embarrassment.

Write out what you can recall about the situation. Interview other family members about what they remember about the event and add that to your collection.
